بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

المسد Al-Masad · 5 آيات · مكية · ترتيب النزول: 6

الأبعاد البارزة: إِنْذَار 90%ظَاهِرِي 90%وَضْع 90%حِكْمَة 90%أَخْلَاقِي 80%

تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he!

▼

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ

No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains!

▼

سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ

Burnt soon will he be in a Fire of Blazing Flame!

▼

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ

His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!-

▼

فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ

A twisted rope of palm-leaf fibre round her (own) neck!
